“SUNDAY-2-SUNDAY ALERT!”

September is Evangelism month at Bethany Church. We are excited about what the Lord can do through us when we let Him lead us to the one that needs in friend in Christ.

This Sunday is “INVITE -A-FRIEND SUNDAY.” Ask God who you need to invite to Church. Tell them that you will personally pick them up and bring them! We are not doing this just to get people in our Church. You know that I have “this thing” about taking other Church’s members. What we are about is winning the lost or those who are temporarily out of Church. Jesus wants them and He wants us to “go and get them!”

I received the promotional material this week for RICK BONFIM MINISTRIES. We can’t wait to have him with us on OCTOBER 3^RD, 4^TH, & 5^TH. We will have a great meeting, I know. We all must pray now for a great time in the Lord.

Prayers: Please remember Victims of hurricane Gustav, Roy and Linda Looney (concerning Makayla), our home-bound members, the group going on a trip to Missouri, Cindy Jackson, Branson Dowdy, Pastor Ray’s family (a cousin in Mississippi has died).

Announcements

Beginning Sept. 7th we will be conducting a congregational demographic survey. Each attendee will be asked to complete the same survey each time they attend either the 9AM or 10:55AM Worship Service on Sept. 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th.
The survey will provide the church council and ministry team with information necessary to meet the needs of Bethany Church attendees.
Your cooperation and participation will be greatly appreciated as we endeavor to strengthen and increase Bethany Church.
