Ms. Juanita Donoho went for her chceck-up yesterday and got a good report from her doctor. Ms. Dot Nabors now resides at Silverleaf of Athens and if you want to mail her a card the address is 705 Whitehead Rd., Apt. 15, Athens, GA 30606, or you may call the church office for her address. Let's not forget our loved ones and friends on our Special Prayer Concerns list in the Sunday Bulletin each week.
If your child is singing on Sunday, please have them here for the Sunday School hour beginning at 10:00 a.m. to practice their song, "Leaning On the Everlasting Arms". Most parents should have a copy of this hymn (page 133 in the United Methodist Hymnal). If at all possible, please try to practice in advance with your child/children at home.

Ms. Juanita Donoho recently celebrated her 92nd birthday. Several ladies visited with a cake & flowers. Ms. Juanita was surprised and she really enjoyed the party. She wishes to thank everyone for the birthday cards, cake, flowers and the Christian fellowship of her friends at Bethany!
She’s looking forward to next year.
MISSIONS
Our motto is “Where Faith and Friendship Meet”, but we are also known for caring and giving. For the month of February, in addition to collecting for the food bank, we will be collecting diapers and wipes for the Hope Resource Center. For those who do not go shopping, you can give a monetary donation to Sherry Beatty or Charlotte Patterson. We will do the shopping for you or you can make a check out to Hope Resource Center. Thank you so much for all you do for our church and our community.
