The UMW met Wednesday, January 4th at the church and had a great turnout. We opened with a prayer and had our usual devotional and treasurer’s report. We remembered those on our prayer list and closed with a prayer for everyone and our church.
Our Secretary, Cheryl Nunn, is caring for her mother, Granny Louise Harmon, and is unable to submit a more detailed report. The ladies enjoyed a great soup and cornbread lunch. The UMW will join with the Youth and Friendship Circle for our Spring Yard Sale. Other missions are being planned. Hopefully, we’ll be able to present the details in the next newsletter.
We hope everyone had a blessed holiday season.
Our next meeting will be Wednesday, February 1st. All ladies of the church please feel free to join us. Our meeting will be blessed even more if you are present.

MISSIONS
Our motto is “Where Faith and Friendship Meet”, but we are also known for caring and giving.
For the month of February, in addition to collecting for the food bank, we will be collecting diapers and wipes for the Hope Resource Center.
Those of you who do not go shopping, can give a
monetary donation to Sherry Beatty or Charlotte
Patterson. We will do the shopping for you
or you can make a check out to Hope Resource Center.
